Hello, I'm Burke Knight. I'm the Founder and main Webmaster of BurkeKnight Enterprises. I started my site in 2007, starting with ProBoards forums, and moving to regular websites and ElkArte forums, where I made several addons and a theme. I am happy doing what I can, to help people, and use my creativity, to make something unique. That is what I enjoy doing, trying to make a difference.

I'd always been a user of the name Knight, since my real last name is hard to get take out/delivery places to get right.
Just like a friend's family always used the same name, we found.

It originated with my grandparents, who got tired of spelling our name 30 times each time ordered pizza. They were big fans at the time, mid 80's, of the original Knight Rider TV show.

As for Burke, a friend got me hooked on a book series, by Andrew Vachss. Burke, is the main character. When I started playing the old style Dungeons and Dragons, starting at 2.0, I used Burke Knight as my character name. I'd built the character up to the point of being a God Character. I'd DM'ed a lot of games, using him as the main NPC character, and he helped a lot of good D&D players make their way through some very hard games.

So, the name stuck, not just for here, but for a lot more. I've been using it as my online name for many things, since 2007.

BurkeKnight Enterprises is my main website, and also is the hub for all the rest of my sites. It has gone through a lot of changes, in the many years it has been going. The site had originally started out as Burke's Realm, an informational website for the classical MMORPG, The Realm Online, by Norseman Games. However, I have expanded into other areas, so the name of the main site was changed to BurkeKnight Enterprises.

We have free web templates for regular websites, and some free images for websites. We are working on more of each, as well as images geared towards use on forums. Custom requests can be made to be filled by us or by other members.
